KYGO captivated audiences at the GMO Sonic Festival in Tokyo, Japan, where the festival laser rig, comprising 64 lasers in total, played a pivotal role in the immersive experience. Alongside 40 traditional lasers, the setup featured 2 unique laser fixtures called BeamTwisters, each contributing to the mesmerizing visual spectacle.
Each BeamTwister boasted 12 DMX-controlled articulating arms, with a scan set fed by fiber optics. These innovative fixtures produced mind-blowing spiral and iris effects, further enhancing the visual extravaganza.
The combination of traditional lasers and the cutting-edge BeamTwisters, managed by John Dickson, added depth and dynamism to Kygo's performance, amplifying the festival's atmosphere with stunning visuals.
